How to Join

For more than 125 years, the Richmond Association of REALTORS® (RAR) has been providing REALTORS® with the highest quality support, service, and commitment. RAR serves more than 5,000 area REALTORS®, sponsors and affiliate members in the Richmond metropolitan area. We hope you will decide to experience for yourself the reason so many real estate agents and brokers have chosen the Richmond Association of REALTORS® as their business partner.

In order to become a REALTOR® member, you must be a licensed real estate agent, broker or appraiser in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Agents must also be affiliated with a REALTOR® member firm. Successful completion of New Member Orientation (NMO) within 90 days of the date of your application is a prerequisite for REALTOR® membership.

Please fax the completed application to (804) 422-5051. Applications received after 3:00 PM will be processed the following business day. Once your application has been processed, an RAR staff member will contact you to schedule your New Member Orientation and MLS training class.

The term "REALTOR®" is a registered collective membership mark which identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and who subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.
