This class satisfies the Virginia requirement that all first-year real estate licensees complete 3 hours of Escrow Requirement education prior to license renewal. In this class, you will learn the proper procedures for:
- Handling, depositing and documenting of earnest money deposits
- Resolution of disputes involving escrowed deposits
- Requirements for the release of held deposits
- Reporting requirements for escrow violations and penalties
