As the Operations and Learning Associate at Richmond Association of REALTORS®, Kayla plays a vital role in keeping the organization running smoothly behind the scenes. She provides high level executive support to the Chief Operations Officer, manages day-to-day office operations, and helps ensure an efficient and engaged workplace for the RAR team. She supports educational programming through content development and helps maintain RAR’s learning technology platforms, ensuring that staff and members alike have access to high quality learning experiences.
A Richmond native, Kayla brings a deep connection to the local community and a strong foundation in education. Before joining RAR, she spent seven years as an elementary school teacher, honing in on her communication, organization, and instructional design skills. Her background in teaching directly informs her work at RAR, where she brings a learner-centered mindset and a passion for making information accessible, engaging, and effective.
Outside of work, Kayla loves spending time with her husband and young son, doing DIY house projects, and visiting a good farmer’s market. She’s an avid reader, a dedicated cat mom, and self-proclaimed foodie that’ll never turn down the chance to try new recipes.
