As the Government Affairs Manager, Samantha works closely with Joh advocating on behalf of REALTOR® members at the General Assembly and the local level. In addition, Samantha researches various policy issues, monitors state, local, and federal legislative activity pertaining to real estate issues, helps fundraise for the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC), and works to build and maintain relationships with elected and appointed officials at the local and state government levels.
Samantha grew up in Glen Allen, Virginia, and received her undergraduate degree from James Madison University with a double major in Political Science and English. She received her Masters’ in Public Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. Samantha recently earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential as well as her Public Policy Certificate. She is an active member of the Virginia Society of Association Executives (VSAE). Outside of work, Samantha enjoys volunteering, spending time out on the Bay, and playing with her rescue dog, Benny!
